Stagelist

Neutral Stages

  • Battlefield
  • Small Battlefield
  • Town & City
  • Pokémon Stadium 2
  • Smashville

Counterpick Stages

  • Final Destination
  • Hollow Bastion
  • Kalos Pokemon League

Stage Striking

  • Agreement: If both players agree on a stage from the neutral stagelist, bypass this section.
  • Elimination: Players/teams eliminate stages from the Starters stagelist until one stage remains. The player/team who strikes first may be determined by RPS (rock, paper, scissors) best of one. The winning player/team strikes the first stage. Then the other player/team strikes two stages. Then the winning player/team strikes one more stage, and the remaining stage is used for the first game of the set.

Counterpicking

  • Character Selection: After each game of the set, the player who won the previous game will select their character, followed by the player who lost the previous game.
  • Stage Banning: After each game of the set, before counterpicking, the player who won the previous game may ban three stages from the stagelist. These bans are game-long and do not persist after a single game. The loser of the previous game then chooses from the remaining stages.

Self-Destruct Moves & Sudden Death

  • Results: The results screen will determine the winner if a game ends with a self-destruct move. If a sudden death occurs, a standard sudden death play-off game applies. If a game goes to Sudden Death, the winner is determined by stocks and percentage at the time the game ends. If both players are tied in stocks, the player with the lower percentage is the winner. In the event of a percentage tie, or a game in which both players lose their last stock simultaneously, a 1-stock tiebreaker will be played with a 3-minute time limit. The results of an in-game 300% Sudden Death do not count. This process is repeated if Sudden Death occurs in a Sudden Death game.

      Fortnite no-build solo (ages 13+)

      Tournament Overview

      General Information

      • Eligibility: Open to players aged 13+
      • Type: This is a No-Build Solos leaderboard tournament.
      • Winner: The player with the highest cumulative score wins at the end of the day.

      Rules and Responsibilities

      • Score Recording: When the round ends, either by your elimination or Victory Royale, raise your hand to summon a member of the SoDak Circuit (SDC) staff. They will record your score and position and either lead you from the participation area or give you the go-ahead to start your next round.
      • Disqualification: If you are witnessed skipping a round or starting a new round without notifying a member of the SDC staff, you could be disqualified.
      • Player Responsibility: Each player is responsible for ensuring that their keys are set before each round begins, as they will not be able to restart a round. Any attempt to do so will result in an end to that round and a placement/elimination count of 0.
      • Conduct: Please be aware that this is a public event. Any excessive cursing or abusive language can be punishable by disqualification from the tournament.

      Scoring

      • Final Score Calculation: The final score for each participant per round will be determined by their placement and the number of eliminations. We will take the score based on your round placement and use a specific multiplier based on your eliminations.
        • Example: Finished in 25th place and had 3 eliminations. That would give you 8 pts (21-30) x 1.5 (3 elims) = 12 pts for the round.

      • 91 – 100: 1 pt
      • 81 – 90: 2 pts
